Consoles 30 FPS
Finally on PC.

PC games feel like they stutter even at 100 FPS while consoles give you smooth 30 FPS locked gameplay. Framepacer gives you the same stutter-free experience designed perfectly for PC.

Console vs PC

Consoles are simple: They are engineered to work in perfect harmony with your TV's refresh rate. Because the timing is mathematically perfect, even 30 FPS feels incredibly smooth.

PCs are too complex: They generate frames in chaotic bursts. One frame might take 10ms, the next 30ms. This uneven delivery creates "micro-stutters" that make your gaming feel worse.

Framepacer brings the console smoothness to your PC. Limits the FPS of your game precisely, releasing frames to your screen at exactly the right millisecond.

In-Game Limiter

Bad pacing = Stuttery gameplay.

How to have 30 FPS console smoothnes on PC

Follow these steps to get the console experience on your PC.

Step 1: The Screen Sync

Connect your PC to your TV or Monitor. Make sure your display is set to 60Hz or 120Hz (most modern TVs do this automatically).

Step 2: In-Game Settings

Open your game's settings: Turn V-Sync ON (stops tearing) and Motion Blur ON (crucial for making 30 FPS look cinematic).

Step 3: App Setup

Open Framepacer, type your target FPS (30 or 60) into the box, and click Apply. You can then minimize it.

Step 4: Grab Your Controller

Sit back on the couch, grab your Xbox or PlayStation controller, and play. The app does the rest automatically.

Recommended FPS Caps

Cinematic / Story

Target: 30 FPS (Max Graphics)

Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2, Alan Wake 2.

Cap to 30, crank your graphics to "Ultra", and enjoy breathtaking visuals exactly like a console's "Quality Mode".

Action / RPG

Target: 60 FPS (Balanced Graphics)

Elden Ring, Hogwarts Legacy, Spider-Man.

60 FPS offers the perfect mathematical balance of fluid combat and great visual detail on modern hardware.

Classic / Emulation

Target: Original Game Speed

Older PC ports and emulators.

Use Framepacer to strictly lock older games to their intended 30 FPS or 60 FPS so the physics engines don't break.

Important Safety Rule: Single-Player Only

Framepacer is designed exclusively for Single-Player and Couch Co-Op games.

Competitive online shooters (like Call of Duty, Valorant, or Fortnite) use strict, aggressive anti-cheat systems. Because Framepacer interacts directly with your game's rendering pipeline to smooth it out, these safety systems might mistake it for an unauthorized mod or hack, resulting in an account ban. Always turn Framepacer off when playing competitive multiplayer!

PlayStation Controller

For the true console experience, we highly recommend the DualSense.
